Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Ontario is hiring two part-time couriers for an interview position on an assigned route. You will provide courteous pickup and delivery of packages, check shipments for conformance with FedEx Canada service standards, and perform related customer service tasks as needed.

We value strong communication, time management and the ability to work under pressure. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs are required, with flexibility for varied shifts including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
• Able to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with equipment.
• Customer-oriented experience preferred.
• Able to pass pre-placement driver assessment training.
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs is an asset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willing to work flexible schedules including holidays.

This is an interview position.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• High school diploma/educational equivalent
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
• One (1) year customer oriented business experience preferred
• Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
• Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask, handle stress and work in a highly pressured environment
• Willingness to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays based on business needs
