Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a driver/operator for company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages and provide courteous customer service.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and assistance from another person.
• Good human relations and communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

• Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
