Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a driver/operator of company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages. You will check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards and provide related customer service functions.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid license for the vehicle assigned, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You must be at least 21 and able to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic and directions.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance as customer contact is required.
• Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Compensation

Pay: $21.05 per hour.

Schedule

Full time, Monday through Saturday. Exact shift and schedule to be determined.
