Job summary

FedEx is seeking a driver/operator to deliver and pick up packages with courteous, efficient service. You will check shipments for compliance and perform related customer service tasks while driving vehicles not regulated by FMCSA. Must be 21+, with a High School Diploma or GED and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Expected schedule includes FT hours Tue–Sat, 8am–6pm, with a focus on safety, neat appearance, and adherence to training and policies. EOE with accommodations available upon request.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Good human relations and communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job description

Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary Information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience related to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay

Starting at $22.10/hr - Up to $31.26/hr
