Job summary

FedEx Corporation is seeking a driver/operator of company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages in Quincy, IL. You will provide courteous service and ensure shipments meet FedEx standards while handling customer inquiries.

The role requires driving non-regulated vehicles, lifting packages, and collaborating with others for heavy items. Must be 21+, possess a valid license, and read/speak English adequately. Full-Time Mon-Fri 8am-8pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum education is a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior work experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to read/speak English sufficiently.
• Must possess a valid license for the vehicle type assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 Lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/ or assistance from another person. Good human relations and communication skills. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
