Job summary

FedEx is seeking a driver/operator for company vehicles in a part-time capacity. You will deliver and pick up packages with courteous, efficient service and verify shipments meet FedEx service standards.

You will drive vehicles not regulated by FMCSA and perform other duties as assigned. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs (and heavier with assistance), and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials as required by FMCSA guidance.

• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Pay: $22.10 / hr

Tuesday - Friday, 9:40am - 2:00pm and Saturday, 3:00am - 9:00am
