Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a part-time driver/operator in Belden, MS. You will deliver and pick up packages, ensuring conformance to FedEx service standards and providing courteous customer service. Vehicles may be non-regulated and you will perform related duties as assigned.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with a pay rate of $22.10 per hour. This role requires neat appearance and a valid license for the vehicle type assigned, along with FMCSA awareness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and directions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages using company vehicles.
• Ensure shipments conform to FedEx service standards.
• Provide courteous customer service during delivery and pickup.
• Operate vehicles in a safe, compliant manner as assigned.

Ability to lift 50 Lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and communication skills. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
