Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in Homer, AK seeks a delivery driver to operate company vehicles, deliver and pick up packages, and ensure shipments meet FedEx service standards. Qualifications

Ability to successfully complete basic and/or recurrent training/testing.

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.

Good human relations and verbal communication skills.

Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.

Non-covered safety-sensitive position.

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
