Federal Express Corporation is seeking a delivery associate to operate company vehicles and provide courteous, efficient delivery and pickup of packages. The role checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service features and supports related customer service functions.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, depending on operational needs. Requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 21 years of age, ability to lift 50 pounds, and a valid driver's license; background

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communications skills. Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 21 years of age, consistently lift 50 pounds, High School / GED Diploma, Valid Driver’s License consistently for the past two years. Must successfully complete a Federal Drug screen and background check.

Pay Transparency:

Starting pay: $22.30
