Job summary

Sentara Health i s currently seeking a Part Time, rotating shift, Courier based out of Sentara Park in Virginia Beach, VA. Picks up and delivers various items such as deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages.

Required to operate vehicle safely, keep vehicle clean and well maintained; maintain vehicle safety logs and submit requests for vehicle maintenance/repairs in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license is required.
• No experience required; 1 year courier experience may substitute for high school education.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and delivers deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages.
• Operates vehicle safely, keeps it clean and maintained, and submits vehicle maintenance requests promptly.
• Tracks lab specimens, reports, supplies and all barcoded items.
