Job summary

• High School or GED, required.
• A clean driving history is required with no major/minor accidents reported in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Transport parcels including pharmaceuticals, medical instruments and supplies, mail, documents.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license, declaration pages of insurance, and vehicle registration at all times.
• Timely pick-up and delivery of all parcels (In accordance with time schedules).
• Maintain the proper chain of custody.
• Report any issues or problems on routes to dispatch or supervisor immediately.
• Safe operation of BJHCHS vehicle and adherence to traffic laws.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Position Summary

The Courier is responsible for transporting parcels to all of Beaufort Jasper Hampton Comprehensive Health Services (BJHCHS) locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for transporting various parcel types including pharmaceuticals, medical instruments and supplies, mail, documents, etc
• Responsible for maintaining a valid driver’s license, declaration pages of insurance, and vehicle registration at all times
• Responsible for timely pick-up and delivery of all parcels (In accordance with time schedules)
• Responsible for maintaining the proper chain of custody
• Responsible for reporting any issues or problems while working on their assigned routes/orders to dispatch and/or their supervisor immediately
• Safely Operate BJHCHS vehicle and abide by all traffic laws
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
