Job summary

Sanford Health in Sanford, NC is seeking a Transportation Associate to transport medical records, lab specimens, pharmaceuticals, and related items to ensure smooth information and material flow across locations. The role supports multiple sites with a varied work shift and a 32-hour weekly schedule.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 21 years old for auto insurance, and hold a valid driver’s license. Prior driving and driving-qualification standards apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow both structured and flexible delivery schedule.
• Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.

• Driver history must comply with Sanford driver qualification standards for insurability.
• Current valid driver’s license, and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category II drivers.

Responsibilities

• Transports multiple items that may include any of the following: medical records, lab specimens, pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical supplies, x-rays, correspondence, freight, and other items to ensure efficient flow of information and materials across locations.
