This route is a flexible driver position. The driver must be able to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Summary

Responsible for the delivery and return of blood products and materials to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a positive and polite demeanor and show respect, in words and actions, towards all individuals and groups.
• Hand off all processed packages to carriers at the time of scheduled pick-ups.
• Record information, such as items received and delivered and recipients' responses to messages.
• Clean and maintain storeroom and receiving areas.
• Surgical specimens will be signed for at each office, and a pick-up log will be kept for the surgical specimens.
• Provide complete and accurate documentation for STAT pick-ups, vehicle maintenance log, and dispatch log.
• Interact with vendors in a polite and professional manner.
• Process customer packages using the internal shipping system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

Additional Job Details

5-7 years driving experience required and an excellent driving record.

HS Diploma or Equivalent Required.
