Job description

Hourly Pay Range: $18.31 - $25.63. The hourly rate depends on expertise and experience.

Position: Courier

Location: Evanston, IL

Type: Full-Time

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:30am – 6pm

Travel: As needed across sites

Responsibilities include:

• Transporting specimens, reports, supplies between hospitals, satellite operations, and physician offices.
• Operating hospital vehicles safely, following traffic laws.
• Performing vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Using handheld devices to scan and document deliveries.
• Communicating with dispatch and laboratory staff to ensure quality service.
• Transporting employees and supplies between various locations.
• Maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Adhering to safety and confidentiality standards.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Dependability, good communication skills, and ability to read/write effectively.
• 6 months to 1 year of courier or delivery experience preferred.
• Valid Illinois Class "D" driver’s license, with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/push/pull 20-100 lbs.
