Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated Full-time Courier/Delivery Driver for IL ACL Laboratories - IL Logistics in Des Plaines, IL. You will transport medical specimens and supplies, ensuring confidentiality and timely delivery on a strict 2nd shift schedule.

Responsibilities include handling hazardous materials, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, documenting deliveries, and communicating with clients and dispatch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; valid state driver's license.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and handle physical tasks.

Schedule Details/Additional Information

Full-time 2nd shift hours working every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1:45 p.m. - 10:15 p.m.

Pay Range

$18.85 - $28.30

Major Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver all assigned items, including medical specimens and supplies, ensuring integrity and confidentiality.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and transport of sensitive and hazardous materials.
• Adhere to schedules, routes, and safety protocols.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and scheduled maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and dispatch.
• Respond promptly and professionally to urgent delivery requests and phone calls.
• Document deliveries and support workflow improvements.
• Handle physical tasks (lifting to 60 lbs) and use freight equipment as needed.
• Collect payments or signatures as needed.
