Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents at our Hershey, PA campus. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervising a group of 8–13 students to foster academic, emotional, and social growth within a family-like environment.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, wellness, driving to activities, and leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, with a transition to a placed home as couples stay with the same group.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning/engaging in developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
