Job summary

Seaside Counseling and Wellness in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a compassionate Couples Counselor to join our growing team. You will provide evidence-based couples therapy using EFT, Gottman, or CBT, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans to help couples strengthen relationships.

This role requires active SC licensure (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW), a Master's or higher in a related field, and experience in relational therapy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based couples therapy using modalities such as EFT, Gottman Method, or CBT
• Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for each couple
• Facilitate sessions focused on communication, conflict resolution, and emotional intimacy
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of counselors and wellness professionals
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and professional development opportunities
