Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks a full-time Flex Houseparent couple to live on campus and care for a group of 8–13 students. You will supervise daily routines, mentor students, drive to activities, lead devotions, and manage household budgets.

The role requires a married couple, age 27+, with a high school diploma or GED, and willingness to live on campus with a smoke-free, weapon-free policy. Relocation and paid training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role; couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
