Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus homes and mentor a group of 8–13 students, supporting their academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role starts with nine days on, followed by three off, and may transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same students. Compensation includes salary, housing, meals, benefits, and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental and recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
