Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus homes, provide care, supervision, and guidance for 8–13 students, and support academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, and leading devotions, with progression to a placed houseparent role.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
• Organizing activities and devotions for students, including Sunday Chapel.
• Ensuring student wellness and safety.
