Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring full-time Flex Houseparents for married couples. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervising and supporting 8–13 students, with a nine-on/three-off schedule and transition to a placed houseparent role over time.

Salary is $46,917.00 per person with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSAs/FSAs, life and disability insurance, retirement plans, relocation assistance, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required and able to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
