Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live on campus in student homes and provide supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students, following a nine-on/three-off schedule with transition to placed houseparent.

Benefits include a salary per person of 46,917 USD, comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, retirement plans, relocation assistance, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.
