Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking a dedicated pair to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus student homes, provide mentorship and daily supervision to a group of 8–13 students, and help maintain routines and safety while supporting academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role starts with nine days on, followed by three days off, with progression to a placed houseparent living with the same group.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
