Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and supervise a group of 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, and a family-like environment to support academic, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities include supervision, routines, driving to activities, devotions, and reporting. The role starts with nine consecutive days on, three off, with transition to a placed home.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Must be a legally married couple for at least two years.
• Two-person role for couples.
• U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
