Job summary

Milton Hershey School is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8-13 students, fostering academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role begins with nine days on duty followed by three days off, with opportunities to move into a placed houseparent position. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, relocation assistance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
