Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks a married couple to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living on campus and caring for a group of 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include supervising, mentoring, scheduling, and activities planning to foster academic, emotional, and social development.

Upon hire, couples will work a nine consecutive days on duty with three days off, and may transition to a Placed Houseparent role with the same group of students.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-spouse role requires married for at least two years.
• Must be age 27 or older.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
