Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. The role offers on-campus housing and guides 8–13 students in a family-like setting, with nine days on and three off, transitioning to a placed houseparent role over time.

Responsibilities include supervision, daily schedules, wellness, transport, devotions, and budgeting. Requires two-year marriage, both spouses 27+, and a clean campus record.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couple must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol during duty.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreation.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
