Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus homes, providing care and supervision for a group of 8-13 students. The role follows a nine consecutive days on duty, then three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and willingness to become certified to drive student vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
