Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, invites couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus, providing care, guidance and supervision for 8–13 students in a home-like setting. The role combines housing, meals while on duty, and a structured schedule that supports students' academic and personal growth.

This two-person position requires a married couple, both 27 or older, with experience around youth, and a commitment to a drug- and smoke-free campus.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreation.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
