Job summary

Milton Hershey School on campus in Hershey, PA, seeks a married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. You will live in a student home, supervise and mentor a group of 8-13 students, and support their academic, emotional, and social development.

The role includes managing daily routines, planning activities, driving students to events, and participating in devotions and Sunday Chapel. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Transport students to activities and lead devotions.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Support multiple student homes initially, then placed in a single home.
