Job summary

JRD Systems seeks a Coupa applications specialist to implement and optimize a global Coupa platform across several ERP systems. You will configure modules, handle integrations, and support requisitions, invoicing, supplier management, catalogs, and approvals.

You will partner with IT, Finance, and Procurement to deliver scalable solutions, improve user adoption, and maintain a stable procurement environment while enforcing SDLC practices and strong data integrity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Coupa experience.
• Experience troubleshooting integration workflows.
• Experience integrating ERP systems (e.g., Oracle ERP/Fusion, NetSuite, Sage).
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Configure and enhance Coupa modules (requisitions, POs, invoicing, supplier management, catalogs, approvals) to meet evolving business needs.
• Support day-to-day operations within Coupa, including configuration, optimization, and user adoption.

Job description

This is an opportunity to support the implementation of a single global Coupa platform across multiple businesses and ERP systems. The Coupa Application role is responsible for the configuration, optimization, integration, and ongoing support of the Coupa platform, serving as the primary technical and functional resource for Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. This role partners closely with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Finance, and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions, maintain system integrations, support user adoption, and drive continuous improvement across requisitions, purchasing, invoicing, supplier management, catalogs, and approvals. The ideal candidate combines hands-on Coupa expertise, integration experience, and strong business acumen to ensure the platform effectively supports organizational goals while maintaining a stable, efficient, and user-focused procurement technology environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Configure and enhance Coupa modules (e.g., requisitions/POs, invoicing, supplier management, catalogs, approvals, receiving) to meet evolving business needs.
• Support day-to-day operations within Coupa, including configuration, optimization, and user adoption.
• Collaborate closely with the IT and Finance teams during initial implementation and beyond.
• Provide internal recommendations to ensure Coupa is configured to meet organizational needs.
• Complete testing and implementation of system updates. Maintains a stable test environment for development of future configurations.
• Enforce SDLC best practices: version control, peer review, test coverage, change management, and documentation.
• Act as a technical partner to Procurement and AP teams—understand pain points, propose solutions, and communicate trade-offs clearly.
• Develop, update, and maintain procedures and training materials for the enterprise for Coupa utilization.
• Maintain API-based and file-based integrations (inbound/outbound), including transformation/mapping, validation, retries, and error handling

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience

• 4+ years of Coupa experience

Technical Skills

• Experience troubleshooting integration workflows.
• Experience integrating ERP systems (e.g., Oracle ERP/Fusion, NetSuite, Sage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas) and financial modeling.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Coupa Certification (Administrator, Procure to Invoice, Implementation Specialist)
• Familiarity with multi-operational companies across one Coupa instance
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
