Job summary

Niemann Foods is seeking a Receiver to accurately receive product and keep the backroom organized. You will scan vendor items with a handheld terminal, communicate with suppliers, and ensure damaged goods are returned promptly.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow written instructions, and strong organizational skills. In this position you will work on-site in Illinois, with pay ranging from $17 to $22 per hour.

SUMMARY

The Receiver is responsible for receiving product accurately while maintaining cleanliness and organization of the backroom area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately receives product into the store
• Scans in all vendor products with handheld terminal
• Phones in shorts to supplier for grocery department.
• Organizes and maintains cleanliness of the backroom and outside receiving area
• Returns damaged product to reclamation center
• Submits vendor invoices daily
• Communicates with vendors
