Job summary

Hardy County Board of Education is seeking a County Coordinator for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program. The role is contract/hourly, supporting after-school activities and ensuring program operations run smoothly with qualified staff.

Start date is for the 2026-2027 school year. Employment is contingent on student enrollment and program funding. Salary is $65.00 per hour for 10 hours/week across up to 25 weeks.

Qualifications

• West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate.
• Current, valid CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience with overseeing program operations and supervision of staff.
• Successful completion of the Hardy County interview process.
• Complete all required county and WVDE trainings.
• Ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Additional Minimum Requirements: unsatisfactory evaluations, interview performance, or references may disqualify applicants; contract non-renewals for cause are not eligible.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program operations and supervise program staff.
• Support and coordinate after-school program activities in line with 21st CCLC guidelines.

Employment contingent on student enrollment. Location of program subject to change based upon student enrollement. Position may be cancelled during program dates dependent on student enrollment.
Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year
Salary: $65.00 per hour for 10 (ten) hours per week for a maximum of twenty-five (25) weeks, said salary shall not exceed $16,250.00 - paid through 21st CCLC grant funds.
