Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Ability to prepare informative financial reports and work with complex financial data.
• Knowledge of Minnesota property tax and election administration.

Responsibilities

• Performs statutory duties of County Auditor and Treasurer.
• Acts as head election official for the county and trains election staff.
• Supervises department staff and administers hiring, promotions, and terminations.
• Provides financial leadership to the County Board and department heads.
• Helps prepare the annual budget and monitors expenditures.
