Position: Country Retail Director

Reports to: JACK & JONES & JJXX, Retail Director Own Stores, Kim Mikkelsen

Location: USA (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania)

We are seeking a Retail Director to oversee our JACK & JONES & JJXX stores across the USA, focusing on executing strategic plans, financial performance, exceptional customer service, and team development.

What You’ll Do

Lead the success of your stores by executing yearly strategies and driving operational excellence. Oversee store performance, manage P&L, implement visual merchandising strategies, and develop your team to ensure brand growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement budgets and KPI targets, creating actionable plans.
  • Collaborate on expansion plans and identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure employee retention and development, creating career and training plans.
  • Follow performance rituals and plans regularly.
P&L & Performance Management
  • Create and manage financial budgets aligned with company goals.
  • Analyze monthly performance and adjust sales, costs, and margins to maximize profitability.
Expansion & Implementation
  • Identify new store opportunities and prepare investment forecasts.
  • Coordinate site surveys and ensure agreements are in place.
  • Ensure strategic execution across all stores and implement visual merchandising and product strategies.
Organization & Team Management
  • Define roles and expectations through updated job descriptions.
  • Lead recruitment, development, and retention efforts.
  • Oversee onboarding and ensure team knowledge in key areas.
Performance Metrics & Rituals
  • Track daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance metrics.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years retail management experience, preferably in menswear and womenswear.
  • Proven leadership in exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Passion for fashion and visual merchandising expertise.
