Job summary

Bybit is seeking a Country Manager to lead the EU market, overseeing regional operations and partnerships, and driving expansion, user growth, and revenue.

Ideal candidates have hands-on marketing, a track record with KOLs, crypto management experience, fluency in English and another EU language, and strong knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks.

This role requires collaboration with global teams and a proactive, high-performance mindset in a fast-moving fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• MBA is a strong plus.
• 10+ years of proven leadership experience in marketing, business development, or general management within tech/fintech.
• Prior crypto management experience is highly desirable.
• In-depth understanding of the EU crypto market, regulatory frameworks (MiCA, MiFID, EMI).
• Fluency in English and at least one additional European language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic business plan for the EU market, driving expansion, user acquisition, and revenue growth.
• Lead and manage all local operations, including marketing campaigns, events, and partnerships.
• Elevate brand awareness and user engagement through targeted marketing initiatives and community events.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, financial institutions, and ecosystem partners.
• Navigate EU regulatory frameworks and monitor market trends to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to align local initiatives with company objectives.
• Provide leadership and support to the regional team to foster a high-performance culture.

As Country Manager, you will spearhead business growth, oversee regional operations, and cultivate key strategic relationships within the EU cryptocurrency market. Ideal candidates possess hands-on marketing expertise, a strong track record of partnering with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), prior crypto management experience, and fluency in English alongside additional EU languages. Strong knowledge of EU crypto regulatory frameworks is a distinct advantage.

• Develop and execute the strategic business plan for the EU market, driving expansion, user acquisition, and revenue growth.
• Lead and manage all local operations, including marketing campaigns, industry events, and strategic partnership developments.
• Elevate brand awareness and user engagement through targeted marketing initiatives, social media, and community events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, local financial institutions, and ecosystem partners.
• Navigate and ensure compliance with evolving EU regulatory frameworks (MiCA/MiCAR, MiFID, EMI).
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regional regulatory developments to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional global teams—including Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to align local initiatives with core company objectives.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to the regional team, fostering a high-performance culture of innovation and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a strong plus.
• 10+ years of proven leadership experience in marketing, business development, or general management within tech/fintech.
• Prior experience as a Country Manager or senior leader within the cryptocurrency industry is highly desirable.
• In-depth understanding of the EU crypto market, consumer behavior, and financial regulatory landscapes (MiCA, MiFID, EMI).
• Established professional network within the DACH/EU crypto and fintech ecosystems.
• Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving clear, measurable business outcomes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to dynamic market changes.
• Fluency in English and at least one additional European language (e.g., German, French, Spanish, Italian).
