Job summary

Bybit is seeking a Regional Business Development Specialist to drive expansion of Bybit’s payments ecosystem across EU and emerging corridors. You will focus on community building, merchant acquisition, local partnerships, and growth initiatives for Bybit Pay, Card, and Fiat channels.

The ideal candidate has deep payments/fintech/crypto experience, strong local market insight, and a proven track record of regional growth, with long overseas experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in payments, fintech, PSP, acquiring, merchant growth or crypto BD.
• Long-term overseas work or study experience (must-have).
• Strong understanding of local payment rails and merchant needs.
• Proven success in regional growth or launching payment products in multiple markets.

Responsibilities

• Support market expansion for Bybit Pay across EU, building and owning the growth pipeline.
• Acquire and manage merchants, payment gateways, fintech partners and Web3 projects.
• Drive end-to-end BD cycle: market mapping, lead generation, pitching and partnerships.
• Collaborate with Product, Card, Fiat Channels, Compliance, Payments Ops, Marketing to scale payments use cases.
• Develop regional GTM strategies and identify high-potential payment corridors.
• Support cross-border payment products including settlement and merchant integrations.
• Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to guide product direction.
• Represent Bybit at industry events and ecosystem partnerships.

About the Role

We are looking for a internationally minded Regional Business Development Specialist to drive the expansion of Bybit’s payments ecosystem across EU and emerging global corridors. This role will focus on community building, merchant acquisition, local payment partnerships, and strategic growth initiatives for Bybit Pay, Card, and Fiat channels.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in payments, fintech, or crypto, strong local market understanding, and a proven track record of driving regional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Support market expansion for Bybit Pay across EU, building and owning the full growth pipeline
• Acquire and manage merchants, payment gateways, fintech partners, Web3 projects, community leaders, and other growth channels.
• Drive the end-to-end BD cycle: market mapping, lead generation, pitching, negotiation, and partnership execution.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Card, Fiat Channels, Compliance, Payments Ops, Marketing) to activate and scale payment use cases.
• Develop regional GTM strategies and identify high-potential payment corridors for crypto-to-fiat and fiat-to-crypto flows.
• Support cross-border payment products, including settlement channels, payout solutions, and merchant integrations.
• Provide market intelligence, partner feedback, and competitive analysis to optimize product direction.
• Represent Bybit in industry events, conferences, and ecosystem partnerships.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in payments / fintech / PSP / acquiring / merchant growth / crypto BD.
• Long-term overseas work or study experience (must-have).
• Strong understanding of local payment rails, fiat/crypto conversion flows, card programs, and merchant needs.
• Demonstrated success in driving regional growth or launching payment products in multiple markets.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments.
• Native local language proficiency + strong English communication skills.
• Network across fintech, Web3, PSPs, acquirers, or merchant ecosystems is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for payments and cross-border movement.
• Background working in global remote teams.
• Prior experience with crypto exchanges, payment gateways, or card programs.
