Job summary

FloFORM Countertops in Boise/Meridian, Idaho is seeking an experienced Countertop Templater / CAD Technician to join our team. This hands-on role combines templating, CAD drawing, and file prep for CNC fabrication, with a strong emphasis on accurate measurements.

You will travel to residential and commercial sites, read blueprints, and collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Production to deliver precise templates and timely work orders.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and CAM software.
• Previous experience in countertop templating, fabrication, installation, drafting, or related construction.
• Experience with kitchen and/or bathroom construction or installation.
• LT3 / Raptor experience preferred.
• Strong blueprint, schematic, measurement, and intermediate math skills.
• Excellent face-to-face customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and ability to work effectively with a wide range of customers.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites to template countertops and take measurements.
• Create CAD drawings for countertops and sinks.
• Prepare files for CNC fabrication and production.
• Detail work orders with cutouts, radiuses, and edges.
• Read blueprints and schematics for specs.
• Identify modifications and communicate templating needs.
• Coordinate with Sales, Ops, Production for accuracy.
• Answer customer questions on-site.
• Submit templates and work orders on time.
• Maintain company vehicle and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experienced Countertop Templater / CAD Technician

Boise / Meridian, ID | Full-Time | Day Shift | $25–$35/Hour DOE

We are seeking an experienced Countertop Templater / CAD Technician to join our Boise/Meridian team. This is a hands-on technical position for someone who understands construction, measurements, CAD, and the importance of getting the details right.

What You'll Do

• Travel to residential and commercial job sites to complete accurate countertop templates and measurements
• Create digital drawings and CAD files for custom countertops and sinks
• Prepare files for CNC fabrication and production
• Complete work orders with precise measurements, sink and cooktop cutouts, faucet holes, radiuses, edges, and other specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications
• Identify required modifications and communicate installation or templating requirements to customers
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Production to ensure accurate and timely job information
• Respond professionally to customer questions while on-site
• Submit completed templates and work orders within required timelines
• Maintain company vehicle and equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Experience is required. We are looking for someone who can step into the role and contribute immediately.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Climb stairs and ladders
• Kneel, bend, squat, twist, and stand for extended periods
• Work comfortably in residential and commercial construction environments

Schedule & Compensation

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

$25–$35 per hour DOE
