Cambria is seeking a Field Service Technician to act as a service ambassador in customer-facing interactions. You will evaluate and service Cambria surfaces during on-site visits, document findings, and communicate with the Regional Product Representative.

You will drive a company vehicle, operate basic tools, and uphold safety standards. The role requires strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, a valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year in field service.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year field service or trade experience preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and documents; blueprints.

Job Description

The Field Service Technician is a service ambassador, representing Cambria in a customer-facing role. In this position, you will be responsible for professionally interacting with customers, evaluating, documenting, and servicing Cambria.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to Cambria customers
• Articulate service solutions while setting proper expectations
• Evaluate Cambria during on-site visits and perform service work as needed
• Document and communicate on-site visit findings with the Regional Product Representative
• Operate basic power tools (hand polishers, seam setters, etc.) while performing service work on Cambria
• Maintain supplies and keep tools and assets in good working condition
• Represent the company well while driving and maintaining the company vehicle
• Practice and promote Cambria’s safety standards
• Perform other ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Skills

• Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a customer focused role
• Accurate color perception required
• Ability to read blueprints, tape measures and operate an iPhone
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Valid Driver’s License, will require motor vehicle background check
• Professional appearance and demeanor required

Minimum Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 1-year experience in a field service or trade position preferred
• Systems: Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, ability to read technical drawings and documents

Additional Requirements

• Managerial Responsibilities: None
• Travel Requirements: Local and overnight travel required
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds daily, drive for long periods of time. Must be able to stand, bend and twist while performing service work.

Salary & Benefits

Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.

This position will be provided a branded company vehicle, based on fleet availability, or temporary mileage reimbursement in lieu until a vehicle becomes available.
