Job summary

Cutting Edge Countertops, Inc. is hiring Countertop Production Specialists for our Perrysburg, Ohio facility on 2nd Shift. The role focuses on machining and finishing materials, with a Monday–Friday, 2:30 pm–11:00 pm schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

Starting pay is $19/hour or more based on experience, plus a $2.00/hour shift differential. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth in a leading countertop manufacturing company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload materials using cranes and lifting aids.
• Operate saws and CNC machines to cut materials.
• Use hand tools for cutting, grinding and polishing.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and perform quality checks.

Essential Functions & Qualifications

You will play a critical role in the machining and finishing of materials. Your responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading materials using overhead cranes and other lifting assists
• Operating saws and CNC machines to cut and manufacture materials
• Operating fabricator-related hand tools used for cutting, grinding and polishing of material
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving any operational issues
• Performing quality checks to ensure fabricated materials meet required specifications

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail to operate machinery and produce quality products
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and schematic diagrams
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
• Basic mechanical skills and an understanding of machinery operation
• High school diploma or GED
• A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 70 lbs, unassisted
