World Stone Group in Michigan is seeking a detail-oriented Countertop Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing natural and engineered stone surfaces in residential and commercial settings, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.

You will read fabrication plans, cut and fit stone using hand and power tools, transport materials, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.
• 1+ years of countertop or stone installation preferred
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 100 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport, handle, and install stone countertops at job sites
• Read and interpret fabrication and installation plans or blueprints
• Use hand tools and power tools to cut, polish, and fit stone as needed
• Work with adhesives, fasteners, and support systems as required
• Inspect finished installations for quality and accuracy
• Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and truck at job sites and in the shop
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
• 1+ years of experience in countertop or stone installation preferred
• Proficiency with tools such as saws, grinders, polishers, and levels
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 100 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Valid chauffeurs driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or until necessary daily required work is completed which will include additional hours during our busy seasons.
