Job summary

Cutting Edge Countertops in Perrysburg, OH is seeking a dependable Countertop Installation Technician for a Monday–Friday daytime role. You’ll install granite, quartz, and solid-surface countertops with a two-person crew in residential and commercial settings, delivering quality workmanship and professional customer communication.

Starting pay is $19/hour during training, increasing to $20/hour after 90 days, with experienced installers earning up to $30/hour. Benefits and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Construction, installation, or skilled-trade experience is helpful, but not required.
• Ability to pass required pre-employment screening, including a background check, DOT physical, and drug screening.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy countertop materials with assistance and lifting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install granite, quartz, and solid-surface countertops in residential and commercial settings.
• Work as part of an installation team to complete projects on time and to spec.
• Communicate professionally with customers and uphold quality workmanship.
• Follow safety guidelines and training to ensure a safe job site.

In this role, you’ll work as part of an installation team to professionally install granite, quartz, and solid surface countertops in residential and commercial settings. We’re looking for people who take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy hands‑on work, communicate professionally with customers, and want the opportunity to build a long‑term skilled‑trade career.

• Experienced installers can earn up to $30/hour, based on skills and experience.
• New to countertop installation? Start at $19/hour and increase to $20/hour after completing our 90-day training program.
• Continue developing your skills and earning potential as you become more experienced in the trade.

Skilled Trades Experience? We Want to Hear From You.

Candidates with experience in trim carpentry, finish carpentry, cabinetry, remodeling, millwork, construction, or other detail‑oriented trades are strongly encouraged to apply.

Skills such as precision measuring, reading project specifications, problem‑solving, working with hand and power tools, and producing high‑quality finish work transfer extremely well to countertop installation.

Relevant skilled‑trade experience may qualify you for a higher starting rate.
