Job summary

L.E. Smith, a Cutting Edge Countertops subsidiary, is seeking a Fabricator for the 1st shift in Bryan, OH. The role involves fabricating countertops using hand tools, routers, sanders and CNC basics, on a 5:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule Monday through Thursday.

Work includes cutting, assembling, edge finishing, sink installation, and backsplash fabrication to spec. Competitive pay and benefits are provided with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years fabrication experience desired or related trades.
• May move material up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to read prints and tape measures; operate hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate sanders, mitre saws, table saws, and routers.
• Cut and assemble countertops to specified sizes.
• Apply build-up and banding; fabricate edge tops.
• Install sinks; glue and lay laminate; finish backsplashes.
• Filing/sanding and cleaning tops for final quality check.
• Basic CNC machine operation.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas.
