Job summary

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory invites applications for an Associate Program Leader for the Counterterrorism (CT) group within the International Assessments Program. Lead a dynamic team delivering intelligence analyses on radiological and nuclear threats for government sponsors.

The role requires active DOE Q or Top Secret clearance with SCI access, a Master’s or Ph.D. in a physical science or related field, and a proven track record in intelligence analysis and program leadership.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Subject matter expert in intelligence analysis of foreign nuclear programs and proliferation.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Counterterrorism program within the IA Group and provide analytical leadership.
• Develop and execute the program’s annual research agenda and produce high-quality analyses.
• Oversee the analytic portfolio with project management oversight and resource planning.
• Staff CT projects, manage budgets, and implement staffing and qualification standards.
• Mentor analysts and establish a mentoring program to support career development.
