Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Counterintelligence Referent to support IC agency CI requirements at a U.S.-identified facility in El Segundo, CA. The role focuses on mission assurance, threat identification, and coordination with IC partners to protect critical assets.

The position requires a Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance, 8+ years of related experience or 5+ years with a Bachelor’s degree, and occasional worldwide travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, 5 years relevant experience/Associate degree, 10 years relevant experience
• Interviewing, elicitation, and debriefing skills commensurate with the professional experience and education of the prospective job candidate
• Experience interacting with agencies across the IC. Experience with DOD CI Collection requirements
• Completion of a formal state or federal CI training program, such as the FBI, FLETC, AFOSI, NCIS, US Army MI, JCITA, DCITA, etc.
• Background and experience in CI SCRM and CI support to RDA
• Ability to travel worldwide.

Responsibilities

• The CI Referent delivers mission assurance to an IC member by providing dedicated CI support to their agency’s daily requirements, operations, critical infrastructure, research & development, and major acquisitions.
• CI Referents are integrated into the critical components of their assigned agency and into separate mission sites to identify internal/external adversarial threats and communicate with relevant IC partners.
• The CI Referent maintains current CI support plans for aerospace/satellite programs as directed by the Government and other IC assets, as assigned.
• The CI Referent coordinates complex CI concerns, with emphasis on SCRM, and coordinates cyber threats, criminal violations, insider threat, and the compromise of classified material with the assigned IC agency.
