Job summary

Genuine Parts Company’s NAPA Auto Parts team seeks an Automotive Parts Specialist to help fleet customers source parts and provide expert assistance in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will use your automotive parts knowledge to answer questions, assist technicians and colleagues, and deliver high-quality service while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Valid driver's license and willingness to learn are required; prior parts-store experience is a plus.

What you will be doing:

• Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for our fleet customers
• Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer questions for customers
• Provide outstanding customer service and interact with management and technicians

• Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and sourced.

What you’ll need:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or at least a willingness to learn all things auto parts
• High School Diploma or GED. Technical or Trade school courses or degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great listening skills and empathy for customer
• Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop environment

And if you have this, even better (not a deal breaker if you don’t):

• Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in airport ground support equipment
• Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, AND/OR inventory management systems, a plus
• Entirely customer-centric (external/internal)
• ASE Certifications
