Genuine Parts Company is seeking an NAPA Automotive Parts Specialist to source and recommend parts for our fleet customers, delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced auto parts environment. You will assist technicians and staff, leveraging parts experience to ensure correct parts are researched and sourced.

The role emphasizes strong communication, willingness to learn, and the ability to work around an airport environment while growing your career within the NAPA team.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn all things auto parts.
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses or degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Great listening skills and empathy for customer.
• Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop environment.

What you will be doing:

• Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for our fleet customers

What you’ll need:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or at least a willingness to learn all things auto parts
• High School Diploma or GED. Technical or Trade school courses or degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great listening skills and empathy for customer
• Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop environment

And if you have this, even better (not a deal breaker if you don’t):

• Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in airport ground support equipment
• Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, AND/OR inventory management systems, a plus
• Entirely customer-centric (external/internal)
• ASE Certifications

This position offers a starting hourly rate of $19.00. For other positions, the starting rate will be determined based on individual skills, experience, and qualifications.
