Job summary

Genuine Parts Company in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a NAPA Automotive Parts Specialist to help customers find and source the right parts for cars, trucks and fleet equipment. You’ll draw on your parts knowledge and friendly service to assist customers and teammates in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes asking the right questions, ensuring part availability, and maintaining a customer-focused approach. A valid driver's license and willingness to learn auto parts are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or at least a willingness to learn all things auto parts
• High School Diploma or GED. Technical or Trade school courses or degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great listening skills and empathy for customer
• Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop environment

What you will be doing:

• Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for our fleet customers
• Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer questions for customers
• Provide outstanding customer service and interact with management and technicians
• Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced environment.
• Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and sourced.
• Inform customers on parts availability.

What you’ll need:

• Experience in airport ground support equipment
• Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, AND/OR inventory management systems, a plus
• Entirely customer-centric (external/internal)
• ASE Certifications
