Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts in Amsterdam, NY is seeking a dedicated Automotive Parts Specialist to join our team. This full-time role centers on sourcing and providing parts for our fleet customers, using your parts knowledge to assist teammates and answer customer questions.

You will deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced environment, ask the right questions to ensure the correct parts are researched and sourced, and communicate availability clearly to customers.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn auto parts.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical or Trade school courses or degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Great listening skills and empathy for customer.
• Ability to work around an airport environment in a shop environment.
• Background in automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership.
• Experience in airport ground support equipment.
• Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, and/or inventory management systems.
• ASE Certifications.

• Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop environment
• Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in airport ground support equipment
• Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, AND/OR inventory management systems, a plus
• Entirely customer-centric (external/internal)
• ASE Certifications

This position offers a starting hourly rate of $19.00. For other positions, the starting rate will be determined based on individual skills, experience, and qualifications.
