Job summary

USA GPC Genuine Parts Company is hiring a NAPA Automotive Parts Specialist to source parts for fleet customers and assist team members with product questions. A strong background in automotive parts and customer service is valued.

The role emphasizes helping customers, maintaining parts accuracy, and participating in a fast-paced environment. Training and growth opportunities are offered within the NAPA team.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn all things auto parts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in an airport environment in a shop environment.
• ASE Certifications are a plus.

What you will be doing:

• Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for our fleet customers
• Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer questions for customers
• Provide outstanding customer service and interact with management and technicians
• Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced environment.
• Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and sourced.
• Inform customers on parts availability.

What you’ll need:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or at least a willingness to learn all things auto parts
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical or Trade school courses or degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great listening skills and empathy for customer
• Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop environment
• And if you have this, even better (not a deal breaker if you don’t): Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in airport ground support equipment
• Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, AND/OR inventory management systems, a plus
• Entirely customer-centric (external/internal)
• ASE Certifications
